Barras for Brain Cancer
Sun Safe Fun With a Purpose
A limited-edition Little Fisho collection created in memory of Gregory Fetterplace and to support the Mark Hughes Foundation in the fight against brain cancer.
100% of net profits from the Barras for Brain Cancer collection will be donated to the Mark Hughes Foundation.
Every purchase will contribute to the fight against brain cancer, with donations made in memory and honour of Greg through his In Memoriam page.
In memory of Greg
On 22 January 2026, our family lost someone incredibly special.
Gregory Fetterplace was one of the bravest, kindest and most remarkable people I’ve ever known. He spent 17 months fighting glioblastoma brain cancer and was taken from us far too soon.
Greg achieved more in his life than most people could ever hope to. He was a loving husband, dad, father-in-law and pop - someone who made a lasting impact on everyone around him.
Kyra and I feel incredibly lucky to have known him, learned from him and called him family.
This collection was created in his memory.
Turning something difficult into something positive
During Greg’s fight, the Mark Hughes Foundation became an incredibly important part of our family’s journey.
They provided invaluable information, unwavering support and, at times, simply a shoulder to cry on. We genuinely don’t know how we would have navigated those 17 months in the same way without them.
After Greg passed away, we created an In Memoriam page in his honour to help raise funds for the Mark Hughes Foundation.
I had always wanted to find a way for Little Fisho to give back to the foundation and Barras for Brain Cancer was born from that idea.
Little Fisho has always been about family, the outdoors and creating memories together. As the brand continues to grow, we wanted to use our platform to do something meaningful for families affected by brain cancer.
A limited first edition
Barras for Brain Cancer is a trial campaign, with very limited stock available for this first release. The collection includes the UV Defender Onesie for babies and toddlers, matching sets for toddlers and young kids, shirts for older kids and adults and women's dresses.
We’re starting small, with the hope that this first campaign can grow into something much bigger.
If the campaign is successful, our dream is to make Barras for Brain Cancer an annual fundraising campaign for the Mark Hughes Foundation. A summer counterpart to the iconic Beanies for Brain Cancer, bringing together family, summer, the outdoors and a shared commitment to helping the fight against brain cancer.
For this first campaign, once the limited stock is gone, it’s gone.
Every purchase helps us test the idea, raise funds and build the foundations for what we hope can become an annual Little Fisho tradition in support of the Mark Hughes Foundation.
100% of net profits donated
We want to be completely transparent about where the money from this campaign goes.
100% of net profits from the Barras for Brain Cancer collection will be donated to the Mark Hughes Foundation.
Net profit is calculated after the costs directly associated with producing, marketing and fulfilling the campaign, including product costs, freight, payment and retail fees, campaign-specific advertising and campaign-related labour.
The funds raised will be donated to the Mark Hughes Foundation in memory and honour of Gregory Fetterplace, through his In Memoriam page.
We’re incredibly grateful to the Mark Hughes Foundation for supporting this campaign and for giving us the opportunity to turn Greg’s memory into something that can help other families.
More than clothing
Barras for Brain Cancer is about more than a limited-edition print.
It’s about remembering Greg.
It’s about supporting the Mark Hughes Foundation, who was there for our family when we needed it most.
It’s about raising awareness and funds for the fight against brain cancer.
And it’s about using the growing Little Fisho community to bring people together around something that matters.
Every order, every share and every conversation about Barras for Brain Cancer helps us tell Greg’s story and support the work of the Mark Hughes Foundation.
Thank you
To everyone who supports this collection, thank you.
Thank you for helping us remember Greg.
Thank you for supporting the Mark Hughes Foundation.
And thank you for helping us turn something incredibly difficult for our family into something positive.
We hope this is just the beginning.
For Greg. For our family. For every family affected by brain cancer.
